The destination of this year's Junior A hurling title is still unclear, even though Na Piarsaigh were awarded the game.

St Patrick's failed to field in last weekend's final and the Limerick City Divisional Board decided to award the title to Na Piarsaigh.

However, St Patrick's look set to appeal the decision and bring their case to the Limerick CCC.

Nonetheless, the club will still play in the county junior hurling championship quarterfinal this weekend, regardless of what stance they take.
