Minor championship 

Our minors lost out to a much physical and well rounded Claghaun outfit last weekend in the West A semi final in Askeaton on a score line of 0-8 to 2-13,best for us were Colm mcsweeney Karol o Sullivan Stephen Martin and Ronan culhane. 

 

Memorial match for Billy

The final preparations are being put in place for this eagerly awaited match to remember our great friend and club stalwart Billy Martin.Glin will play a North Kerry selection on Saturday October 1st  throw in at 2.30.The match will follow a blessing by FrCrawford and unveiling of a memorial plaque.The Johnny Kelly cup decider (u/12 ) will be the curtain raiser throw in at 1pm.Food music and All Ireland replay in Barretts bar after.All are very welcome.

 

 Commiserations to Lia and Katie Fitzgerald both members of the Gerald Griffins ladies team defeated by Oola in the junior county final last Saturday.

 

Congratulations to Mark Tobin on winning the pair of Cusack stand tickets for the drawn all Ireland the club would like to thank him for his kind gesture also.
