Camogie  Cappamore u 16 camogie girls had a great win in the county final on Friday last ,when they defeated Blackrock/Effin in a hard fought contest.The girls who had to line out without the injured Ellie Diggins showed great grit and commitment to lead at half time by 2-03 to 1-02.The cappamore goals coming from Emily Hayes with Emily troy getting 2 great points.In the second half Blackrock/Effin took the game to Cappamore,but the Cappamore defence lead by Captain Emily Sheehy held firm.With further goals from Grace Coleman Ailbhe O Connell and Eimer O Malley ,Cappamore ran out worthy winners.This was a truly great team performance with all the girls contributing to the win. Cappamore intermediate camogie defeated Bruff to reach the county final scheduled for next weekend.
