This a very tight game played down in Dromcollogher, on last Tuesday night, our last game in the County League is on this coming Friday July 22nd against Fr. Casey's, in Dromcollogher, at 7.30pm. Please Support our Senior Footballers.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first two points of the game coming from Keith Lacey and Patrick Donnelly and then Na Pairsaigh replied with a point. Micheál Brosnan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Na Pairsaigh scored the next point to leave a point between the sides. Kevin Noonan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Na Pairsaigh scored the next five point to lead by three points with 25 minutes gone in the game. Patrick Donnelly scored the last point of the half from a pointed free to leave two points between the sides at the break. To leave the score at half-time Na Pairsaigh 0-7 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-5.

 

Na Pairsaigh scored the first two points of the second half to lead four points with 39 minutes gone in the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points coming from Patrick Donnelly and Micheál Brosnan to leave two points between the sides with 43 minutes gone in the game. Na Pairsaigh scored their point of the game to lead by three points and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with the next three points before the end of the game and these points came from Derry McCarthy, Micheál Brosnan and Micheál Reidy to leave the sides level on 10 points apiece. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-10 to Na Pairsaigh 0-10.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-09Results of the 209th draw took place on Monday July 18th, in the Green Bar, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 1, 10, 15 and 22, there was no winner of the jackpot of €4,600 and there also no winner of match three at €100 and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Mary Cregan, Rowels, Meelin and Pat and Ann Dore C/O O'Shea's Bar, Dromcollogher and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday night July 25th, in Begley's Bar, Broadford, at 9.45pm sharp, the jackpot going up to €4,700 (win or share) and the match three staying at €100 (win or share).
