Night at the Dogs
Fr. Caseys GAA Club will host the Official Launch Event of our Night at the Dogs Fundraiser this Saturday night, May 28th in the GAA Clubhouse, Abbeyfeale. This is the biggest fundraiser our club has undertaken in many years and all proceeds will go towards the development of our club facilities. Special guests on the night will be the legendary Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh along with members of the Limerick Ladies Football Team who were recently crowned National League champions. Our extremely talented local musicians and European champion dancers will also be present. A great night of entertainment is promised with refreshments also being served. We strongly encourage all club members and supporters to make a big effort to attend. The event kicks off at 9pm.
Nominator tickets priced at €20, will be on sale on the night which gives you free entry to the race night and if your nominated dog comes first then you win a fabulous hamper. The official race night will take place on Saturday August 13th in the Limerick Greyhound Stadium.
Limerick Footballers
The Limerick senior footballers begin their 2016 championship campaign this Sunday against Clare in the Gaelic Grounds. Fr. Casey's players Padraig Browne and Adrian Enright are on the panel this year and we wish them the best of luck as they go in search of a win. Clare claimed the Allianz Football League Division 3 title after beating Kildare at the end of April and will be a tough opponent but Limerick will feel they have a strong chance of claiming an opening round victory.
Denis 'Rev' Flanagan Memorial Tournament
Fr. Casey's are delighted to have been invited to play in this tournament again this year. All games are played in Mountcollins and on Friday 27th May a double header is fixed with both the Cup and Plate finals to be contested. Fr. Casey's were drawn against Mountcollins in the semi-final which was played on Tuesday. Brosna and Rockchapel are the other teams participating in what is a great local competition played in memory of Denis.
Congratulations
We would like to congratulate Abbeyfeale United F.C. on winning the league in dramatic circumstances on Sunday afternoon. Well done to all involved.

Child Protection Regulations
We continue to respectfully remind all Parents / Guardians that due to increasingly strict Child Protection and Insurance Policies, that all registration and membership fees must be fully completed and paid for in advance by a responsible Parent or Guardian before any child is allowed to train or play. Also, be aware that all children who are training or playing must wear GAA approved Gum Shields; which can be purchased in most Sport Shops.
