Kildimo/Pallaskenry Club Notes

May 23, 2016

LIMERICK U-14 HURLERS & FOOTBALLERS: Congratulations to Mícheál Cuddihy who was a member of both the Limerick U-14 hurlers and footballers who were in action over the past week, and to Aaron O'Donovan who also played with the U-14 hurlers who defeated Tipperary at the weekend. It is a great achievement for the players individually and also for the club to have players featuring at intercounty level, right through from U-14 all the way up to senior level. The club is very proud of Aaron and Mícheál's achievements and it is a testament to both the talent and hard work of the two boys. We would also like to recognise the contribution of their coaches at club level, who do their best to try and help all players reach the highest level they possibly can.

ALL-COUNTY HURLING LEAGUE: Kildimo/Pallaskenry 4-15 Drom/Broadford 3-16. A fine victory for our hurlers in a league game against Drom/Broadford, a side we will face in the Championship later in the year. It was a very youthful side which took to the field and racked up a high score in what was an exciting affair. It is good to see the depth in the panel, particularly amongst the younger players, boding well for the future.

INTERMEDIATE HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP: Our intermediate hurlers are out again on Tuesday May 31 in Askeaton, where they will take on St. Kieran's at 7.45pm. We would hope that as many people as possible come out to support the team, as they hope to build on the excellent victory over Knockaderry before the summer break.
