A Limerick GAA club has been the subject of a number of arson attacks.

The St Patrick's club in Rhebogue has seen thousands of euros worth of damage caused to their facilities over the last three weeks.

Last Monday morning, club officials found that a storage shed at the grounds which contained a charity clothes collection bank had been set on fire.

This follows a number of trees being set on fire in other incidents, which has resulted in a hefty bill from the Limerick Fire and Rescue Service.

Club officials have made an appeal through social media to the public for any information on the attacks.

St Patrick's are in the middle of a fund raising effort, but as the cost of the damage escalates, their efforts are being scorned by the vandals.
