Kildimo/Pallaskenry Club Notes

May 03, 2016

LIMERICK MINOR FOOTBALLERS: Congratulations once again to Dylan Corrigan and Conor Staff, members of Jerry O'Sullivan's Limerick minor football final who defeated Waterford by eight points during the week to reach the Munster semi-final. The match against Cork will be a huge test and we wish Dylan, Conor and the rest of the team the best of luck ahead of that fixture.

INTERMEDIATE HURLERS: Our intermediate hurlers open their Championship account next weekend, Saturday March 7 in Ballingarry, as we take on Dromin/Athlacca, only last year relegated from Premier Intermediate. It will be a big test, but after a good showing in last year's Championship, all at the club hope that we can go on to even better things in 2016. We hope that anyone who is available will attend the fixture, as support is always appreciated and, indeed, is vital.

JUNIOR B HURLING LEAGUE: Kildimo/Pallaskenry 2-18 Ballybrown 1-05. A second big victory in the league for our junior B hurlers, as they defeated near neighbours Ballybrown by a margin of 16 points on Monday evening. The junior B hurlers have been in good form and will look to build on that throughout the year.

JUNIOR A FOOTBALL LEAGUE: Kildimo/Pallaskenry 3-14 Mungret 1-05. This was a very comprehensive win for our junior footballers in the league, as they disposed of Mungret. Matches against Monaleen and Crecora/Manister remain in the league, and we hope to secure a semi-final spot.
