Help needed in coaching

With over ninety children presenting last Saturday morning for the weekly Youth Programme , we are now embarking on an appeal to more parents and hurlers from u 18 up, both camogie and hurling,  to let their  names go forward as coaches .This is a very rewarding thing to do and a great way of getting to know your children's friends and other parents . Children revel in the attention given to them by so many people interested in their development .They never ask what team did you play ,there is no need to be intimidated by the fact you may not have played much sport yourself . It is a great opportunity to set your child off on a sporting journey  and being with them as they head out  means a lot to them .

Thursday night in the Sports Complex at 7.30, sees the second of two sessions on how to get involved in coaching children, this is a beginners course ( there will be one later for experienced coaches ).

Apprentice Chef Programme

The Final of the 2015/2016 Apprentice Chef is Friday 6th May. We would like to wish Orlaith Hennessy, representing Hazelwood College along with Billy Ryan, all the best in the final.
