FOR THE COUNTY INTERMEDIATE HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 1 AGAINST ST. KIERAN'S, ON THIS COMING FRIDAY MAY 6TH, IN NEWCASTLE WEST, AT 7.15PM.
This is first time up Intermediate since the year of 1999 after winning the Junior A Hurling Championship there last year were promoted back up to the Intermediate ranks in Limerick Club Hurling Championship, our first game of the groups stages takes place on this coming Friday night May 6th, In Newcastle West, at 7.15pm. This was a game of two halves in the first half of the game with Dromcollogher/ Broadford leading by 1-4 to 0-2 in the first 15 minutes with the goal coming from Gerard O'Gorman and then in the second half of the first half Na Pairsaigh took over and from there took control of the game with two goals coming from Eoin Hogan from penalty and Peter Casey to give victory on the day over Dromcollogher/ Broadford, after two rounds we now have won and lost, we are level on two points level with St. Patrick's, with Na Pairsaigh, Olla and St. Kieran's all on three points and Ballylanders have no points, our next game in the championship is against St. Kieran's, on week-ending July 31st.
Alan Dempsey scored the first point of the game for Na Pairsaigh and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-2 with 1-1 coming from John O'Gorman and the point coming from Micheál Brosnan. Eoin Hogan then scored point from Na Pairsaigh and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored two more points coming from Paul Madigan and Micheál Brosnan both coming from play. Na Pairsaigh scored the next 2-3 without reply with two goal coming from Eoin Hogan from penalty and the other from Peter Casey and with all three points coming from Eoin Hogan. Derry McCarthy scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave a goal between the sides and then Na Pairsaigh scored the next three points before the break to lead by six points at end of the half and these points came from Eoin Hogan, William O'Donoghue and Thomas Grimes. To leave the score at half-time Na Pairsaigh 2-8 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-5.
Derry McCarthy of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Kieran Daly of Na Pairsaigh exchanged points early in the second half and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points with two coming from Paul Madigan and Kevin Noonan from a free to leave three points between the sides. Na Pairsaigh scored the next three points with two coming from Eoin Hogan and the other point coming from Alan Dempsey to leave six points between the sides once again. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points coming from Patrick Donnelly and Paul Madigan to leave four points between the sides and then Eoin Hogan of Na Pairsaigh scored the next point to put five points between the sides once again. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points coming from Micheál Reidy and Kevin Noonan to leave three points between the sides and then Eoin Hogan scored another point for Na Pairsaigh just before the end of the game coming from a free to leave four points between the sides.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw
Results of the 201st raw took place on Monday May 2nd in O'Shea's Bar, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 1, 3, 5, and 11, there was no winner of the jackpot of €3,500 and there was two winners of match three at €100 and each got €25 and they were: Diarmuid Reidy, Dromcollogher, Jackie Flynn, Feohanagh, Kieran Ryan, Dromcollogher and Geraldine O'Sullivan, Dromcollogher and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Bridie Noonan, Carraward Heights, Dromcollogher and Cathy O'Sullivan, Dromcollogher and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday night May 9th, in the Corner House, Dromcollogher, at 9.45pm sharp, the jackpot going up to €3,600 (win or share) and the match three staying at €100 (win or share). Membership and Club Limerick Draw
The membership for the above club is now and is €25 for all players and no playing members and also note the Club Limerick Draw membership is also due, at €10 per month with the first draw in April and its €100 for the whole year, please note the promoters for the Club Limerick draw will be calling over the next week or 10 days to you.
Non Stop Draw
Dromcollogher / Broadford GAA Club are holding their Annual Non Stop Draw during the months of May, June and July. Monthly prizes as follows; 1st €500, 2nd €200, and 3rd 3 prizes of €100 each. Our promoters will be calling to all homes in the parish over the next few weeks to ask for your support. Entry to the draw is €20 per month or one upfront payment of €50 for all three draws. A special draw will take place for all fully paid up members. All proceeds will go towards the on-going running cost of preparing our hurling and football teams for championships and also towards the maintenance of our facilities. Your support for this fund raiser will be greatly appreciated.
