Patrickswell GAA notes

May 03, 2016

SENIOR HURLERS: The Championship begins with a tough fixture against Adare on Sunday May 8 in Bruff at 7.15pm.  We would ask every club member to make a big effort to attend the match.  Best wishes to the players and management.

JUNIOR A HURLERS: The Junior A Hurlers suffered a 3-20 to 2-11 defeat to neighbours Ballybrown in the City League.

CAMOGIE: The U-12s play Bruff this Thursday May 5 at 6.45pm in Patrickswell. The U-16 match against Cappamore is refixed for Wednesday May 4 at 7pm in Cappamore. Underage training continues every Friday night. If anyone is interested in joining, please come along to try it out.

U-16 HURLERS: The U-16 hurlers continued their excellent start to the championship season with a 5-16 to 2-9 victory away to Adare.

GOLF CLASSIC: The club's Golf Classic will take place on Friday May 27 in the verdant surroundings of Adare Manor Golf Club.  Teams of four players can register for €200 per team.  The fee includes a full meal.  The prize for the winning team is a television each (or similar).  Tee boxes can be sponsored for €50 each.  If you would like to enter a team for the Classic or sponsor a tee box, please contact Kieran Carroll, Kieran Darcy or any committee member.  This is a major fundraiser for the club and a great day out for golfers.
