Senior Football The Senior team played Pallasgreen in the second round of the County Championship and came out on top by MONALEEN 0-14, Pallasgreen 0-7. 

Junior Football The Junior footballers lost their first league match to Crecora.

Junior Hurling The Junior Hurlers also lost to Crecora.

The U-14s played Na Piarsaigh on Tuesday in Caherdavin. The home team put up a spirited performance and Monaleen struggled to get on top and play to our full potential. Scores from Aoife Nelligan and Aoife Doyle in the second half looked to be enough giving Monaleen a 4 point lead with minutes remaining. Na Piarsaigh fought back with 2 late scores and a final score of 2-2 for both teams

Shannonside played their relegation final v Galbally on Monday evening in Meanus. With both teams determind to protect their Intermediate status the first half was a tough nervous affair. Thanks to scores from Caoimhe Lyons Shannonside held a slender lead at half time. The game was more open in the second half with the girls finishing strongly to win 4-8 to 2-6. With the first championship match on 15th May just 2 weeks away this was a great boost for all involved.

Membership renewal time has arrived! A notice will issue to all members in the coming week. Adult single and family memberships remain at €95 and €150 respectively and junior membership stays at €40 for the year. If you are interested in joining this vibrant 4-court tennis club, please download the membership form from the website, get signed up and start playing!

 

The annual singles and mixed doubles competitions for all levels of adult players including novices commences on Saturday 23rd April and runs until Saturday 14th May. Please enter your name on the sheet at the noticeboard at the courts by Wednesday 20th April.
