Our Hell and Back Fundraiser:
Amazing effort from our 9 Trojans today who all completed the Hell & Back 10km outdoor trail on Sugar loaf mountain in Wicklow. With an early morning start at 7.30am. The Hell & Back Trojan is a 10km outdoor man- made terrain consisting of trail runs & mountain paths which our 10 Trojans have to progress over, under, around & through infamous Hell & Back obstacles including 2FM wall, Hell on Earth, Satans pit, Nightmare on Hell St & the Swamp & a treacherous trek up the Little Sugar Loaf Mountain in Bray Co. Wicklow.  The Club congratulate all our Trojans Ann Mullins, Brendan Mullins, Sean Maher, Pat Halpin, Tony Quigley, Barry Toomey, Patrick Doyle, Owen Shaughnessy and Mark Phelan in making this Fundraising event a success. Many thanks to all who sold Sponsorship cards
Club Limerick Draw
The Club Limerick Draw will recommence in March and we would really appreciate your support in one of our most important annual fundraisers. The development draw is a major source of revenue for the club and we need as many club members and supporters as possible to get involved for 2016. 50% of all funds collected are returned to the club with the remaining money going towards the development of our county teams.
There will be 10 monthly draws from March to December. This year's prize fund has been increased with in excess of €362,500 up for grabs. For the March and June draws there will be a star 1st prize of €20,000 cash or a choice of car worth 25,000. The second prize will be €3,000, third prize €2,000 and fourth prize €1,000. With sixteen other cash prizes up for grabs plus a guaranteed Lotto Jackpot of €10,000 every month there are a host of chances to be a winner. The draw costs €100 annually.
Underage Training:
Underage Hurling Training continue this Friday evening in Delta Sports Dome. Training for boys and girls the age groups are listed as follows U6 Boys/ Girls Hurling Training (Born in 2010), U7/8 Boys/ Girls Hurling Training (Born in 2008, 2009) and U9/10 Boys/ Girls Hurling Training: (Born in 2006, 2007) training begins at 7pm to 8pm indoors.
New players and of course parents that would like to give a hand are most welcome. Please bring your child along for fun, fitness and friends. A donation of €2 per child is asked to help cover the hall rental costs. Hurley and helmets are available for younger age groups. Please like and share this post to help get the message out there.
Gaeltacht Scholarship:
There is a scholarship to a summer course at a Gaeltacht college based in Munster available to club members in secondary school. Those interested in being put forward for the draw for the scholarship please contact Club secretary Hannah Phelan on 086-1733284.

The range of items includes (Jackets, Rain Jackets, Windcheaters, Half-zips, Tracksuits, Hoodies, New Jersey's Training Jerseys, Polo Shirts, Socks and Shorts etc.). All of the above have been specially designed for our club and come complete with official Club crest, Club name and official GAA logo in all sizes from Kids to Adult.
GAA National Draw:
Once again the G.A.A. will run a National draw for all clubs around the Country with top class prizes on offer. The club took part in this draw last year and the club were very successful with the draw, that the club decided to enter the draw again this year. Tickets will be available from the Committee over the next week please support when asked.
Limerick G.A.A Looking for New Referees:
Limerick G.A.A. Will hold a Referees course for all those who is interested in taking up refereeing. The basic level 1 referee course will take place on the Tuesday 9th February and Tuesday 23rd February in the U.L. North Campus. If you want to book a place for the course, please contact Limerick Referee administrator Michael Meade at 087-6881599
Club Meeting:
The club held its first meeting since our A.G.M. last Monday with a large attendance, under the leadership Chairman Kenneth Dawson the committee outlined their plan for the club for 2016 and most of all the club sub committees and club delegates to difference boards were put in place.
Membership:

Membership for 2016 is now open for adults and underage players and club members. With closing date for membership is March 31st the club appeal that all membership be paid A.S.A.P.
Congrats:
Congratulations to Gearoid Hegarty and Jason Mullins and the Limerick senior football team who drew with Tipperary last Sunday in the opening round of the Allianz Football league in Kilmallock last Sunday, Gearoid and Jason will be in action again this Sunday when Limerick senior footballers will travel to Longford for round two.
