It was six of the best today with two provincial finals, two Leinster semi-finals and a couple of county final replays taking place.

All-Ireland champions Corofin locked horns with Mayo kingpins Castlebar in the Connacht Club SFC final in Tuam, while Na Piarsaigh (Limerick) and Ballygunner (Waterford) contested the Munster hurling decider at Semple Stadium.

The Leinster Club SFC semi-finals comprised St Loman's of Westmeath V Ballyboden St Enda's of Dublin in Mullingar and perennial Laois representatives Portlaoise against Killoe Emmet Og of Longford at O'Moore Park.

Meanwhile, South Kerry and Killarney Legion renewed acquaintances at Fitzgerald Stadium in the Kerry SFC final replay, while Craughwell and Sarsfields did likewise in Salthill to see who wins the Galway SHC.
