Pride of place goes to our u16 footballers who the county division 3 championship
Cappamore played Dromcollogher Broadford and again we had an excellent game. The boys played very well in the opening half, again taking their goal opportunities very well. We were up 4-6 to 0-5 at half time and looked to be in a good position for the second half. But like in most games the fightback came in the second half. Dromcollogher Broadford struck for two goals of their own in the second half and added a further five points to their tally. Luckily for Cappamore we continued to pick off points of our own and won out 4-10 to 2-10 at the final whistle to the relief and cheers of the Cappamore supporters. This is a great achievement for this bunch of young men playing and beating teams with the football pedigree Drocollogher Broadford.
