Na Piarsaigh not done yet

October 02, 2015

Na Piarsaigh manager Shane O'Neill has stressed that the job is not done yet after they beat defending champions Kilmallock in the county SHC semi-final.

O'Neill oversaw his charges to a splendid victory over their rivals who lost not only their county crown, but their defence as Munster champions as well.

It was a titanic battle between the top two teams in the county over the last few years, but O'Neill was staying very much grounded when speaking to the Limerick Leader.

"Job is not done," were his frank words. "We are going into the final now and we lost the final last year and we don't want to lose another final.

"We are going to work really hard because the performance that you put in for a semi-final will never be good enough to win a final. Our performance won't win a final no matter if its Adare or the 'Well.

"Our target was to win the group and get straight into a semi-final and then win that to get to a final. We have to see who it will be against next week, but we will concentrate on ourselves as we have done all along because if we perform we can put it up to anybody."
