Hurling Co.Cup semi final.

St. Kierans 1 - 16

NCW            1 - 9

We made our exit at the hands of the above competition at the hands of our near neighbors St . Kieran's in Mick Neville part last Tuesday.

A poor first half in which our opponents took all their chances and we didn't left us with a mountain to climb trailing 1 8 to 0 2 at the break .

We tried gamely in the second half to reduce the deficit but it wasn't to be . St . Kierans in the end running out deserved winners on a score

Of 1 - 16 to 1-09.

This game was the finish of the adult hurling in the club for the year , It what was an poor enough year , the positives are the retention of our Intermediate status and also the introduction of younger players to the championship with hopefully more to be added next year.

A big thank you to all the panel and management who gave of their time over the course of the year.

Next Sunday at 2pm in Kilmallock we take on last year's co. champions Ballylanders in the county semi final. Please come out and support this hardworking team as we endeavour to reach this years

County final.

U14 Hurling

Our under 14 Hurlers faced combination team Ballyhoura Gaels on Saturday last in the County Semi Final. Having won all of our seven group matches we approached the game with optimism. However on the day Ballyhoura proved too strong for our lads and ran out comfortable winners.  Each of the boys battled hard and kept going until the final whistle with Bryan Nix being particularly impressive scoring 2-5. The result on the day did not do justice to the effort and ability the lads showed all year and with only 5 of the panel overage next year we will face into 2016 with some optimism.

Panel: Ethan Hurley, Andrew Mortell, Michael Cremin, Todd Donovan, Ruadhan O Connor, Evan Mc Mahon, Leon Barry, Jody Woulfe, Luke Gleeson, Bryan Nix (Capt.), Brian Foley, Morgan Sheehan,  Conor Walker, Daniel Normoyle, Evan Sheehan, Killian Collins, Jack Duggan, Oisin Enright, Padraig Walsh, Mikey McNamara.

U14 Football

On Saturday next we take on Galbally in the Football Semi Final. In the group stages we overcame next Saturday's opponents in a very tough game and expect a tough battle again. All support would be welcome. Throw in at Mick Neville Park is 11.30.

U13 Hurling

The group stages concluded on Wednesday last with a 5 point defeat to Kilpeacon after a great game in the field. Both teams came into this game unbeaten with victories over Kilmallock, Deel Ranger, St. Kierans and Croagh Kilfinny knowing that the winner would qualify for the final. After a fiercely contested and enjoyable game we came up just short with our opponents taking their chances and ourselves unfortunately missing a few good goal chances. Our hurling year concluded but again there is much optimism for 2016.

Panel: Paudie Kelly, Andrew Mortell, Michael Cremin, Todd Donovan, Ruadhan O Connor, Evan Mc Mahon, Leon Barry, Jody Woulfe, , Morgan Sheehan,  Ethan Hurley,  Conor Walker,  Evan Sheehan,  Jack Duggan, Oisin Enright, Padraig Walsh, Mikey McNamara, Donal Bourke, Michael Blashkiv, Brian Coughlan, Gavin O Keefe, Dylan Scanlan.
