County Junior A Hurling Championship Quarter Final

Dromcollogher/ Broadford  2-17
Staker Wallace  3-09

This was a very good conditions down in Ballyagran, played on Sunday last, mid-way through the second half Staker Wallace led by six points and then we turned it around winning by five points, with goals coming for Dromcollogher/ Broadford came from Michael O'Sullivan and Damien Lacey and this win puts into the Semi-Final.

Staker Wallace scored the first 1-1 of the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points and these points came from Ray Lynch and Damien Lacey.  Staker Wallace scored the next point to lead by a goal and then Keith Lacey scored his first point of the game.  Staker Wallace scored the next two points and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford the next four points with three coming from Damien Lacey and the other point coming from Derry McCarthy to bring the sides back on level terms for the first time during the game.  Staker Wallace scored the next two points lead by two points at the break.  To leave the score at half-time Staker Wallace 1-6 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-7.

Staker Wallace scored the first goal of the second half to lead by five points and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points both coming from Damien Lacey.  Staker Wallace scored the next goal of the to lead by six points and then Kevin Noonan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford.  Staker Wallace next point of the game and then Michael O'Sullivan scored his first goal of the game to leave three points sides.  Staker Wallace scored the next point of the game and then Damien Lacey scored the next two points for Dromcollogher/ Broadford.  Staker Wallace the scored the next point of the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-6 with 1-4 coming from Damien Lacey and the other points came from Derry McCarthy and Ray Lynch to give us a win by five points and also to book out place into the Semi-Final.  To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-17 to Staker Wallace 3-09.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

Results of the 171st draw took place on Monday Night last September 28th, in The Corner House, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were:  3, 8, 10 and 11, there was no winner of jackpot at €5,200 and there also was no winner of match three at €100 and the two lucky dips winners of €50 each were: Ronan Cahill, Dromcollogher and Timmy Noonan, Carraward West, Dromcollogher and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday night October 5th, in The Green Bar, Dromcollogher, at 10pm sharp, with the jackpot going up to €5,300 (win or share) and with the match three staying at €100 (win or share).  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.
