Senior Football:
Our senior footballers are training away getting ready for the final round game of the county senior football championship against Pallasgreen on Wednesday 16th September. At the moment the championship league table looks like this

City Senior Football:
We will face Mungret in the City Senior football championship semi final on Wednesday 9th September in Mungret throw in will be at 6.45pm with the winners facing Monaleen
Junior B Footballers:
Our junior footballers are in a three way playoff for the championship semi finals with Monaleen and Ballybrown St Patrick's will meet the losers of Monaleen and Ballybrown on Monday September 7th in Rhebogue with the winners meeting Crecora in the City semi final
Junior Hurlers:  
Congratulations to our junior hurlers on reaching the City Junior A Hurling final following their great victory over Ballybrown in the semi final last Saturday evening in Claughaun. We were level at the half time break 0-05 each but in the second half when Jason Mullin pointed three points and Mark Kiely got our goal our lead at that time pulled us through even though Ballybrown never gave up and we ran out winners St Patricks 1-12 Ballybrown 1-10. Well done to all involve with this team in reaching the City final after an absence of a couple of years. Our scorers on the evening were Jason Mullins 0-06 (6f), Mark Kiely 1-02, Gearoid Hegarty 0-02 (2f), Niall Phelan 0-01 and Wayne Cronin 0-01. We now face Na Piarsaigh on Sunday September 20th in Claughaun at 5pm in the City Final please keep that Sunday to have big support that Sunday.  
U16 Hurling:
Our U16 hurlers were second best to Newcastlewest last Monday evening in the county U16 hurling shield competition semi final going down by 7-11 to 3-11. Following the defeat ends the season for our under 16 hurlers and many thanks to the players and management who were involved with this team all year.
U16 Football:
U16 football team lost to Mungret/St Pauls recently by 1-14 to 3-14 in the county shield semi final. Well done to management & panel on reaching the semi final. Following the defeat ends the season for our under 16 footballers and many thanks to the players and management who were involved with this team all year.
U14 football:
U14 football team lost to Adare by 1-06 to 0-05 in the county division 2B shield semi final in a tight football match recently. Well done to all the under 14 football panel & management on reaching this stage of the Championship. Like other underage teams and following this defeat ends the season for our under 16 footballers and many thanks to the players and management who were involved with this team all year.
U8 hurling:
St Patrick's U8 hurling panel took part in the U8 hurling blitz in UL Campus on Friday August 28th.There was 26 teams taking part & St Patrick's entered two U8 teams with both teams playing three matches each & all six games turned out very competitive & entertaining. Team (1) Ava Mc Namara, Callum O Keeffe, James McCarthy, Emma Doherty, Eamonn Doyle, Alexander Tzichizy, Keelan O Gorman & Ryan O Keeffe. Team (2) Alex Freeman, Christopher Hickey, TJ Power, Kieran Walsh, Abbi Mc Namara, Aaron Gubbins, Tia Goradia & Lucy Cross Ryan.
St Patrick's club & U8 Coach Paul Doherty would like to thank all the parents that gave a helping hand at the blitz. U8 training will resume for the autumn in St Patrick's field next Friday September 4th at 6.30pm
Congrats:
St Patrick's G.A.A. club were delighted to have a player from the Club selected for last weekend Inter-County competitions. Billy Power lined out for the Munster U15 B hurling panel when Limerick took on Clare and Waterford. Results in the Clarecastle/Munster Inter County Annual Fé 15/B Hurling Tournament are as follows Limerick 2-09 Clare 1-04 and Waterford 1-06 Limerick 0-08. Limerick went down to Cork in the cup final Cork 4-15 Limerick 0-04.
Gearoid Hegarty:
All in St Patrick's G.A.A. Club would like to congratulate Gearoid Hegarty and the Limerick U21 hurling team & panel on their great victory over Galway in the U21 All Ireland Hurling Championship semi final recently. We at the club would like to wish Gearoid and the Limerick U21 hurling team the very best in the final against Wexford on September 12th

St Patrick's G.A.A. are selling their Lucky first goal scratchcards for the All Ireland Hurling Final Match Kilkenny v Galway at the Parkway Shopping Centre on Thursday August 27th from 10am until 8pm €2 each. Other dates include Friday August 28th, Sunday Sept 30th. Anyone that would like to help out on any of these dates for 2 hours please contact club secretary Hannah Phelan 0861733284. The Club will also going door to door in order to raise funds for our new dressing rooms on Tuesday August 25th in the Garryowen area. As many volunteers as possible would be appreciated on the evening.

St Patricks Gaa are selling their Lucky first goal scratchcards for the All Ireland Hurling Final Match Kilkenny vs Galway at the Parkway Shopping Centre this coming Thursday  from 10am until 8pm €2.00 each.Other dates include Thursday August 27th, Friday August 28th,Sunday Sept 30th.Anyone that would like to help out on any of these dates for 2 hours please contact club secretary Hannah Phelan 0861733284.The Club will also going door to door in order to raise funds for our new dressing rooms on Monday August 24th in the Garryowen area.  As many volounteers as possible would be appreciated on the evening.

The club have two teams in action this evening our junior B footballers will travel out to Crecora to take on the home side Crecora/Mainster at 7pm in the City junior B football championship then at 7.15pm.Our under 14 hurlers are home to neighbours Claughaun the County U14 hurling championship so if you can please make one of these games to give support.

Junior B Footballers:
Following our defeat by Ballinacurra Gaels last Wednesday by 3-09 to 0-13 we now face Crecora Mainster this Wednesday evening in Crecora at 7pm. Last Wednesday was a disappointing evening going down by five points. At half time we were three point down 1-03 to 0-03 but had a very good second half but could not get our scores with all the chances we had. We lined out as follows Thomas Madden, Stephen McNamara, Stephen Clancy, Liam Broderick, Tony Quigley, Anthony Kett, Jack Greenwood, Niall Kearns, Eoin O Sullivan, Craig Rochford, Barry O Doherty (Capt), David Clancy, Mark Long, Niall MacNamara and Alan O Hanlon. Subs used were Gary Campbell, Niall Benson, Sean Walsh, Cyril Hamilton, Timmy O Connor and Gary O Hanlon. Our scorers were Niall Benson (0-04), Mark Long (0-03), Tony Quigley (0-02), Gary Campbell (0-02), David Clancy (0-01) and Niall Kearns (0-01).
Junior A Hurlers:
Our junior hurlers played their final championship league game last Saturday evening in Rathbane going down to Na Piarsaigh 2-22 to 3-11. Our junior hurlers are now in the semi final following defeats over Crecora, Ballybrown and Patrickswell and drew with Old Christians but in the semi final which will take place on Saturday 29th August at 5.45pm we will take on Ballybrown as part of a double header with Na Piarsaigh and Patrickswell both semi finals are taking place in Claughaun.
Minor Football:
Are minor footballers are knock out of this year's championship following our defeat last Friday evening against Monaleen going down by 5-11 to 0-02 this was a very disappointing year for our minor football team as the club expected more from this team this year.
Best Wishes:
All at St Patrick's Club would like to wish a speedy recovery and also to get back on to the playing field as soon as possible to our young player Liam Broderick who is ill at Hospital. Liam get well soon.
Good Luck:
Best Wishes to Limerick U21 hurling team on this Saturday evening when they will face Galway in the All Ireland U21 hurling championship semi final in Thurles at 6pm. Good luck to Gearoid Hegarty who is a member of the Limerick team from all at the Club.
Fundraising Event:
St Patricks G.A.A. club have secured dates to sell their lucky first goal scratchcards for the All Ireland senior hurling final 2015. Dates for selling scratchcards in the Parkway Shopping Centre are as follows. This Thursday 20th August between 10am up to 8pm. Also on Thursday August 27th 10am to 8pm and Friday August 28th 10am to 8pm. Parents & club members looking to help out for  just 2 hours on this fundraising event please contact club secretary Hannah Phelan at 086-1733284 of your availability.
Cúl Camp:
The St Patrick's held a very successful Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp last Monday in St Patrick's Field Rhebogue. A great turnout was had all week with over 40 children taking part. Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games. Many thanks to all who made this Cul Camp a success.

Our senior footballers were beaten by a single point in the county Irish Wire Products Ltd senior football championship group1 round four points by Monaleen in Claughaun last Saturday evening going down by Monaleen 0-10 St Patrick's 0-09. In the final round we now take on Pallasgreen and with all games been played at the same time we will be looking at results from other games as the championship league tanble is very tight. Our panel of players on the night were Gary Neville, 2 Mark Phelan, Wayne Cronin, Darren Mackin, Jeffrey McNamara, Keelan Stephenson, Barry Toomey, Niall Phelan, Gearoid Phelan, Jason Mullins, Eoin Hanrahan, Shane Halpin, Ryan Meagher, John Mullane and Liam Quinn. Junior A Hurlers:
Our Junior hurlers drew with Old Christians last Sunday evening in the City junior A hurling championship we were ahead at half time 1-10 to 2-04 but the game ended 1-16 to 3-10. We lined out as follows David Geary, Darragh Cronin, Mark Phelan, Tony Kett, Tony Quigley, Andrew Hannigan, James Madden, Kevin Maher, Gearoid Phelan, Niall Phelan, Brendan Mullins, Jack Greenwood, Jason Mullins, Wayne Cronin and Mark Kiely. Subs were Shane McNamara, Cyril Hamilton, Gavin Mullins and Michael Downey. Scorers were Jason Mullins (1-08), Wayne Cronin (0-06) and Mark Kiely (0-02). We now reached the knockout stages but we still have a final game of the championship league to play and that will take place on this Saturday evening against Na Piarsaigh in Rathbane at 7pm. 
Minor Football:
Our minor footballers had to give a walkover in the last round against Newcastlewest in the county minor football championship. This weekend we have two championship games this Friday evening our minor team are home to Monaleen at 7pm and also are home to Fr Casey's on Sunday at 12pm.
U16 Football:
Our U16 footballers went down by a single point away to Newcastlewest last Saturday morning in the County U16 football division 1 championship going down by 2-12 to 2-11.   
U16 Hurling:
Our U16 hurlers were second best to a strong Garryspillane team this evening in Rhebogue Garryspillane 6-26 St Patrick's 1-04 in the county U16 hurling championship down by 3-12 to 0-02 at half time but Garryspilaane took control in the second and ran out winners by a big margin. We lined out as follows Billy Power, Nathan O Shaughnessy, James Neville, Conor O Sullivan, Adam O Regan, Jack O Hanlon, Galvin Moran, Andrew McMahon, Travis Quaid, Sean Doyle, Jack Doyle, Craig O Neill, Kevin Madden, Adam McNamara and Dylon Bourke. Subs were Sean Mortell for Conor O Sullivan, Jack Walsh for Dylon Bourke and Elliott Moloney for Craig O Neill. Other panel members were Jack Collopy Stephen Bourke. Our next game will be in the county shield semi final away to Newcastlewest on Monday 21st August.   
U14 Hurlers:
Our under 14 hurlers will take on Naomh Brid this Wednesday 12th August next in Ballybricken at 7.15pm this is a must win game to reach the knockout stages of the competition. 
U14 Football:
Our U14 footballers went down by five points last Wednesday evening in the Co U14 football championship to Ballyhoura Gaels 3-11 to 3-06 at Rhebogue. We led by 0-03 to 0-02 at half time but in the second half we let Ballyhoura Gaels go on top and we missed a lot of chances, but the good news is that we still qualify for the knockout stages well done to all involved. We lined out as follows Adam McNamara, Jack Collopy, Dylon Bourke, Patrick O Doherty, Stephen Bourke, Nathan O Shaughnessy, Adam Phelan, Andrew McMahon, Sean Mortell, Kyle Mullins, Travis Quiad, Eilliott Moloney, Brian O Connor, Sean Airey and Sean Cross. Subs Luke Hayes for Elliott Moloney and Diarmuid Hegarty for Brian O Connor. Other panel members were Shay Collopy, Jack Cosgrave and Bradley Moran. Sorers on the evening were Travis Quaid (2-02), Luke Hayes (1-00), Shane Cross (0-02) and Kyle Mullins (0-02). 
U12 Hurling: 
On Friday last 18 of our U11 and U12 panel set out for a hurling blitz in Semple Stadium Thurles.  After five very close and entertaining games against Lisgoold (Cork), Ballina (Tipp), Clerihan (Tipp), Middleton (Cork) & Bruff (Limerick). They were also given a tour of the Stadium by Tipperary Intercounty player, Brian Fox. Panel of players: Sean Rice, Blake Campbell, Shane Cross, Matthew Hickey, Christopher Hickey, Michael Ryan, Bradley Moran, Pierce Quinn, Ryan Manning, Jamie Quigley, Reece Costello, Kevin Rea, Martin McCarthy, Adam O Rourke, Cian Kennedy, Jamie Duffy, Josh Campbell, Alex Halpin, The club would also like to thank parents that travelled and helped on the day. Deirdre Quigley, Angela Cross, Rebecca McCarthy, Gary Campbell, Tony Quigley, Seani Ryan and Larry Cross.
Cúl Camp:
The St Patrick's Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp started last Monday August 10th until this Friday 14th from 10am in St Patrick's Field Rhebogue. A great turnout on the first day with over 40 children taking part. Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games. Attendance was open to primary school children aged 6 years to 13 years and each child that attends the Camp will receive the new Cúl Camp Kit for 2015 and the Camp Bag in Limerick County colours.
