JUNIOR B HURLERS

Our second string junior hurling team were in action on Sunday morning when they took on Monaleen.

The lads trailing by 12 points at one stage showed great fighting qualiites to stage a comeback to trail by 2 points.

However the exertions proved too much and table toppers Monaleen ran out winners 4-10 to 2-12 with our goals coming from Kevin Hodnett and Ian Considine.

Best performers on the day were Evan Gilvarry, Marcus McManemy, William Henn and Mark Considine.

Special mention to the Minor management who made their players available to us.

We wish them well on Tuesday in the Championship versus Adare.
