INTERMEDIATES: Tuesday evening 14th July Cappamore were the visitors to the Gaa field for the East Intermediate championship game we already have a victory over Pallasgreen so both sides were looking for the win.
The game was an even contest throughout with the team's level on a number of occasions and at the halftime break it was Caherline who had the narrow of margins 0-9 to 0-8.
Into the second half and the game upped a level again with the physical level of the game increased as well and both sides saw a chance for the win .Cappamore got the breakthrough after 44 minutes when a penalty was converted and this put them up by five points and it was then the lads had to chase the game for the first time. Credit to all the players on the pitch they did work hard to get the lead back to just under two points with a minute remaining and we did have a late chance to get a goal but we could not convert it and it was Cappamore who picked up the win on a fulltime score 1-14 to 0-15.

U16S: U16s travelled back to Bangoue this on Monday 13th July to play Shamrock Gaels in the third group match in the championship.We got a very entertaining game from both sides this evening.Shamrock Gaels had the better of the first half and seemed to finding their scores easier although we did put a lot pressure on them and were very unlucky not to have a couple of goals in the first half.The second half was were all the action took place and both sides really upped their workrate and skill level on view from both sides was a great to watch.
Pauric Wixted got our two goals in the second half and scores from Daniel Murnane , Lloyd O' Dea had the Shamrock Gaels lead back to just four points with just twelve minutes left on the clock. However a late Shamrock Gaels rally with a couple of goals gave them the win at fulltime on a score of 5-14 to 2-9.
Well done to all the lads this evening as they never once gave up with the workrate all during the match.

U12S: Our U12 hurlers made the short trip to play Doon on Monday evening the 13th July, where they came up against a very strong side. This didn't deter the lads from the task on hand where they kept battling throughout the game. As the game progressed the lads got more into it and displayed some great passages of play. However on this occasion Doon ran out comfortable winners on the night. Well done to all the players who are showing good improvement as the year progresses.
