Hurlers lose to Monagea in their opening Championship game
In an eagerly anticipated clash Rathkeale lost out to Monagea in their opening Championship game which was played in Quaid Park Coolyrue last Friday night. Both teams came into game with strong league form behind them but unfortunately with many players unavailable through injury and other reasons we suffered a heavy defeat on the night. Monagea proved too strong in all departments and ended up worthy winners on a scoreline of 3-15 to 0-13. With little time to dwell on the performance Rathkeale need to pick themselves up for the upcoming game which is against Kileedy this Sunday evening, June 28th at 7.00pm in Coolyrue. Best of luck to all involved and let us get out and support the boys.

Senior Footballers
Our senior footballers are busy training away in the back ground in preparation for their next Championship game which is scheduled for the weekend of August 9th against Ballylanders. There will be league fixtures between now and August however we are still awaiting the updated fixture list.
