Paudie O'Brien says Limerick are in a good place ahead of their crunch Munster SHC derby clash with Clare.

The teams will go head to head at Semple Stadium on Sunday evening and O'Brien is confident that TJ Ryan's charges have prepared well for the impending test:

"We are in a great place and couldn't have prepared any better," the Kilmallock clubman says in The Limerick Leader. "Obviously we would love to have Nickie [Quaid] and David Breen, but these things happen. From our persepective as a team, we are in a good place.

"We know we have to go hammer and tongs but we are very calculated in what we want to do and just want to put our best foot forward."
