Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-12

This was a game to of two halves with Na Pairsaigh leading by 2-6 to 0-6 at the break and then in the second half we out scored by 1-6 to 0-5, we lost by two points in the end of the game so, Na Pairsaigh on eight points, the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford came Ray Lynch and the following scored the points for Dromcollogher/ Broadford Micheál Reidy 4 points, Liam McGraynor and Paul Madigan 3 points each, Kevin Noonan and Jason Stokes a point each.

West Junior B Championship Group 1 Round 1

We received a walkover from Gerald Griffins no team on last Sunday, in the West Junior B Football Championship Group 1 Round 1, our next game in the Junior B Football in the Championship is against Knockaderry, more details during the week.

U8 Football Blitz

Our u8 footballers played their first blitz of 2015 on Saturday last.  This blitz was held in the G.A.A grounds of Dromcollogher.  Participating in this blitz were: Kilmallock with three teams, Castletown/ Ballyagran with one team and Granagh/ Ballingarry with one team and ourselves Dromcollogher/ Broadford  with two teams.  This was a very enjoyable for all the boys and girls.  This was a first blitz for a lot of the younger ones.  All our players did us and their parents proud as they performed admirable.  Each player got to play in three matches this was a great experience for them.  I would like to thank the management and their parents for their support and help during this blitz.  The following are the list of players that played in the blitz: Orlaith Shanahan, Shane Browne, Brendan Geary, Shane Geary, Colin Burke, Adam O'Kelly,  Ryan Sheehan,  Aidan Noonan, Rory O'Dell , Alex O'Dell, James Stack, Sean O'Flynn, John Lenihan and Bobby Gore.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

Results of the 151st draw took place on Monday Night last May 18th, in Neenan's Bar, Broadford and the numbers drawn were: 24, 25, 30 and 31, there was no winner of jackpot at €3,300 and there also was no winner of match three and the two lucky dips winners of €50 each were: Colm Meaney, Dromcollogher and John Curtin, Glenduff, Ashford and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday night May 25th, in O'Shea's Bar, Dromcollogher, at 10pm sharp, with the jackpot going up to €3,400 (win or share) and with the match three staying at €100 (win or share).  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.
