JUNIORS: Junior B's got their season underway on Tuesday evening 12th of May when they played Ballybricken/Bohermore in the East league in Caherelly. The match itself was an even contest all during the game.In the first half we struck first we scores from play by Dylan Mulqueen and Hughie McGuire, Ballybricken got the opening goal after eleven minutes. As the half wore on both teams added more scores from play and frees our frees came from Donnacha O' Loughlin.
The halftime break scoreline was Ballybricken 1-7 Caherline 0-4.
Into the second half and the lads upped it a put a lot of pressure early on but could not get the points on the scoreboard as it seemed lady luck was not on our side as our chances were narrowly going wide or any goal chance would not go in the back of the net.
It was Ballybricken who got the game's second goal with nineteen minutes gone and this now put them up by seven points. The lads did work hard and kept up the pressure but could not get the goals to get back into the game and at fulltime it was Ballybricken 2-10 Caherline 0-9.

Junior B's played their second match on Sunday evening in the east league on a very wet evening in Cappamore.
Cappamore got the better start and soon had a lead built up thanks to a goal after fourteen minutes and scores from frees. The lads then started to win possession around midfield and create good chances and with twenty minutes gone a long ball into the 14 yard line and it was pulled on by Liam Coffey and straight into the back of the net further frees by Donnacha O' Loughlin got us back in the game and at half time it was Cappamore 1-7 Caherline 1-3.
Second half under way and it was once again Cappamore who got the better start and soon had a big lead built up with scores from play and frees. The lads seemed to respond to this and for the rest of the second half we controlled the game and put a lot of pressure on the Cappamore backs and it started to yield as we got a number of frees and a couple of the frees we attempted shots on goal but these were saved on the line and cleared. In the second half Mike McCarthy and Donnacha O' Loughlin scored but it was not enough to pick up the win and at fulltime it was Cappamore 1-14 Caherline 1-6.
Next up for the Junior B is Doon at home Friday 22nd May at 7:30pm
