The Munster Council's €500,000 grant to the Limerick County Board has been approved.

Club delegates voted in favour of accepting the grant at this week's county board meeting, while it has also been agreed as to how the money will be used.

A lot of the funding will be used to pay off their debt, while half is going towards the completion of work in Mick Neville Park.

Remedial work at the Gaelic Grounds has also to take place and that will see the majority of the funding used up after all those projects.
