Feile Hurling:
Our Feile hurling team came second best to Garryspillane last Sunday Afternoon when we travelled  to Knocklong to take on the home side Garryspillane in the semi final in this year's Feile hurling competition. Our young players had the plenty opportunity to score from play in the opening minutes of the game but were unlucky not to do so. At half time we were four points to one point down. In the second half we did close the gap down to two points when Diarmuid Hegarty pointed from a free but after that we never built on it and left Garryspillane in to hit us for 2-04 to 0-03. One player that had a great game and kept Garryspillane at bay for long periods was opur goal keeper Jack Collopy who made great saves throughout this semi final. Our scorers were Travis Quaid (0-01), Diarmuid Hegarty (0-02). Our panel of players on the day is as follows Jack Collopy, Neill Mullins, Nathan O Shaughnessy, Adam Phelan, Gearoid O Sullivan, Andrew McMahon, Shane McCarthy, Adam McNamara, Eoin O Regan, Luke Hayes, Travis Quaid, Sean Mortell, Kyle Mullins, Diarmuid Hegarty, Shane Cross, Luke McNally, Jamie McNamara and Sean Farrell.
