St Patrick's G.A.A. Club Notes

Easter Egg Hunt:
The club will held an Easter Egg Hunt last Sunday at the Clubhouse this was a great get together for Families and Friends for a Fun day out. The hunt was great fun for the kids and Adults. The day was a great success and thanks all those who were involved with it.

Bucket Collect:
The Club will host a House to House Bucket Collection this Friday evening and all Day Saturday in aid our underage teams. The collection will take in Rhebogue, Garryowen and the Dublin Road areas. The Club is appealing to all club members and supporters to give a hand with this fundraiser. To the people of the Parish if you can please support the Club in any way possible.   

Membership:
Membership for 2015 is now closed but Associate membership is now available at a cost of Adults €40, Unemployed €25, Underage €20, O.A.P. €10 and Family € 50. Membership cards will be available within the next two to three weeks to all paid up members. Many thanks to Club PRO Eamonn Phelan, Club Secretary Hannah Phelan, Club Treasurer Paddy Quilligan, Hurling selector Joe Markham and football selector Kieran Dore for their great help in getting adult and underage players paid up and also club committee and supporters paid up.   

Senior Football:
Our senior footballers will took Dromcollogher Broadford last Tuesday evening April 7th in Dromcollogher in round 4 of the County football league. Our seniors travelled with a lot of players out injured or work commitments and were five points down at the short whistle 0-02 to 2-07. In the second half we tried hard to to keep in the game but when the final whistle blew we were short by two points to draw 2-09 to 2-07. Our scorers on the evening were Eoin Hanrahan (2-02) John Mullane (0-03) and Shane Halpin (0-01). In the league we have one victory over Fr Caseys and drew with Monaleen and one defeat Dromcollogher Broadford. We still have to rearrange a back fixture with Newcastlewest. Please check the club face book for confirmation of fixtures. Other league fixtures are as follows

Best of luck to the St Patrick's Lads:
Well do to our own Gearoid Hegarty and Jason Mullins who were involved with the Limerick senior football team victory over Louth in Drogheda last Sunday in was a great victory against Louth to keep Limerick in division 3 for next season.   

Junior Hurlers:
Our junior hurlers opened their county league campaign last Saturday evening in Rathkeale. Like our senior footballers we were missing a few players but we started very well leading by 2-07 to 0-09 at half time with Sean Ryan and Michael Geary hitting our goals. In the second half we let Rathkeale take control of the game when they hit us for 2-06 to our 1-03 in the second half to run out winners by two points. Final score was St Patrick's 3-10 Rathkeale 2-15. Scorers were Brendan Mullins (0-10), Michael Geary (2-05) Sean Ryan (1-01). Team lined out as follows Mark Kiely, Tony Quigley, Christopher Reals, Ryan Harris, Andrew Hannigan, Wayne Cronin, Mark Phelan, Niall Phelan, Gearid Phelan, Cyril Hamilton, Brendan Mullins, Joe Ryan, Sean Ryan, Michael Geary and Gavin Mullins. Sub used was David Geary for Gavin Mullins. Next up is the City intermediate hurling championship v Kildimo Pallaskenry in Rathbane on this Saturday afternoon at 5pm. Clubhouse Bookings:
Having a Party the Clubhouse is available to hire for private parties Christenings, Communions, Birthdays etc. For all bookings at the Clubhouse please contact club secretary Hannah Phelan 086-1733284.

TLC:
St Patrick's G.A.A. Club took part in the Team Limerick Clean Up Campaign last Friday morning. The club did the cleanup of the Rhebogue area. Many thanks to those who came out and supported the Club with the cleanup we met at 10am at the clubhouse and many thanks to Paddy Quilligan who organizes the cleanup, thanks also to TCL for the equipment they supplied.

Club Limerick/Mackey Stand Draw:
The club will be canvass over the last couple of weeks for the 2015 draw for new supporters and club members to join the draw and got a good response the draw will start on this Saturday morning live on 95FM You can still join the draw if you are not yet in it by contacting Club Secretary Hannah Phelan at 286-1733284  

Gaelic4Mothers:
Gaelic4Mothers, Others, Groody Gaels and Ladies U16s will be training every Tuesday evening between 8pm to 9pm in the field.

Underage:
Feile Hurling:
Our Feile hurling team has a big Day this Sunday morning when they will travel to Garryspillane to take on the home side in the semi final in this year's Feile hurling competition. In the quarter final we defeated Caherline 2-03 to 2-00 but we will have to up our game to get over Garryspillane. Our panel of players is as follows Jack Collopy, Neill Mullins, Nathan O Shaughnessy, Adam Phelan, Gearoid O Sullivan, Andrew McMahon, Shane McCarthy, Adam McNamara, Eoin O Regan, Luke Hayes, Travis Quaid, Sean Mortell, Kyle Mullins, Diarmuid Hegarty, Shane Cross, Luke McNally, Jamie McNamara and Sean Farrell.
