Notes for Wednesday and Thursday 1st and 2nd of April 2015

Result:

All County Football League Division 1 Round 3

Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-12
Rathkeale   1-11

This is a very tight game with the goals for Dromcollogher/ Broadford both coming in the first half of the game and they came from Derry McCarthy and Paul Madigan and the points came from Killian Phair 5 points, Kevin Noonan and Micheál Reidy two points each, Micheál Brosnan and Derry McCarthy a point each, this victory puts two points on the board for us, our first victory of the year.

Micheál Brosnan scored the first point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Rathkeale replied with the next three points of the game to take the lead for first time during the game.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-3 to take the lead once again with the goal coming from Derry McCarthy and points coming from Kevin Noonan and Micheál Reidy and Derry McCarthy and then Rathkeale replied with a point.  Micheál Reidy scored the next pointed free for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Rathkeale scored the next three points to leave a point between the sides.  Paul Madigan scored the second goal of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford just before the break to leave four points between the sides at end of the half.  To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-5 to Rathkeale 1-7.

Killian Phair scored the first point of the second half and then Rathkeale scored the next 1-1 of the game to leave a point between the sides once again.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points and these points came from Killian Phair and Kevin Noonan and then Rathkeale scored the next point of the game.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two point these points came from Colin Lordan and Killian Phair and then came another point from Rathkeale.  Brian Noonan scored the next for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Rathkeale scored the next point of the game to leave a goal between the sides.  Killian Phair scored the last point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to give us a four point victory on the day.  To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-12 to Rathkeale 1-11.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

Results of the 145th draw took place on Monday Night last March 30th, in O'Shea's Bar, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were:  5, 6, 16 and 26, there was no winner of jackpot at €2,600 and there was three winners of Match three at €100 and they each got €35 and they were: Kitty O'Donnell, Dromcollogher, Mary Morrissey, Newtownshandrum and Kathleen Barry, Broadford and the two lucky dips winners of €50 each were: Jack O'Connor, Feenagh and Mary Noonan, Dromcollogher and the next draw will took place on Tuesday April 7th, in The Corner House, Dromcollogher, with the jackpot going up to €2,700 (win or share) and with the match three staying at €100 (win or share).  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.

Club Membership (Adults) €20 is now due for payment.  Closing date for this payment is strictly March 31st.  Please note that Membership Fee after this Date is €30.
