St Patrick's G.A.A. Club Notes

Easter Camp:
St Patrick's Easter Camp for Hurling & Football took place last Monday March 30th to Thursday April 2nd at Rhebogue the camp started every morning from 10am to 2pm. The Camp was very successful for all Boys and Girls from the age of 6 to 12 years that came along and enjoyed the fun hurling and football. Weather was against us at the start of the week but improved as the Days went by. Many thanks to Colm O Brien who ran the Easter camps and his coaches Jack Greenwood, Niall Duhig, Adam O Regan and Aoife & Tara Hogan. 

Easter Egg Hunt:
The club will hold an Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday (Easter Sunday) at the Clubhouse this is a great get together for Families and Friends for a Fun day out. The Clubhouse will be open from 3pm on Easter Sunday.

Membership:
Membership for 2015 is now closed but Associate membership is now available at a cost of Adults €40, Unemployed €25, Underage €20, O.A.P. €10 and Family € 50. Membership cards will be available within the next two to three weeks to all paid up members. Many thanks to Club PRO Eamonn Phelan, Club Secretary Hannah Phelan, Club Treasurer Paddy Quilligan, Hurling selector Joe Markham and football selector Kieran Dore for their great help in getting adult and underage players paid up and also club committee and supporters paid up.   

Senior Football:
Our senior footballers will take Dromcollogher Broadford next Tuesday evening April 7th in Dromcollogher at 7pm in round 4 of the County football league. With one victory over Fr Caseys and drawing with Monaleen we need to keep our unbeaten run going. We still have to rearrange a back fixture with Newcastlewest. Please check the club face book for confirmation of fixtures. Other league fixtures are as follows
May 14th
Round (5) Away to Rathkeale at 7.30pm
June 4th
Round (6) Home to Na Piarsaigh at 7.30pm
June 30th
Round (7) Away to St Kierans at 7.30pm
Best of luck to the St Patrick's Lads:
Well do to our own Gearoid Hegarty and Jason Mullins who were involved with the Limerick senior football team victory over Clare in Newcastlewest last Sunday and the very best this Sunday when they will be involved in a vital league game with Limerick senior football team against Louth in the Allianz football league.  

Junior Hurlers:
Our junior hurlers are training away every Friday evening at St Patrick's at 7.45pm. Our junior hurling team will open their County junior hurling league game with an away trip to Rathkeale on this Saturday April 4th at 6.45pm. Please check the club face book for confirmation of fixtures. Other league fixtures are as follows

Round (3) Away to Old Christians at 7.30pm
June 9th

Clubhouse Bookings:
Having a Party the Clubhouse is available to hire for private parties Christenings, Communions, Birthdays etc. For all bookings at the Clubhouse please contact club secretary Hannah Phelan 086-1733284.

TLC:
St Patrick's G.A.A. Club have volunteered for the Team Limerick Clean Up Campaign this Friday morning. The club will be doing a cleanup of the Rhebogue area. If we could get as many volunteers as possible to meet at 10am at the clubhouse where Paddy Quilligan who organizes the cleanup equipment supplied by TCL. We will do our best to make our surrounding Community spotless. Volunteers can contact the Club at 0861733284 for more details.

Mackey Stand Draw:
The club will be canvassing over the next couple of weeks for the 2015 draw for new supporters and club members to join the draw. 

Gaelic4Mothers:
Gaelic4Mothers,Others, Groody Gaels and Ladies U16s will be training every Tuesday evening between 8pm to 9pm in the field.

Underage:
Feile Hurling:
Our Feile hurling team has reached the semi finals of the Limerick Feile hurling competition when we defeated Caherline 2-03 to 2-00 in the quarter final last Saturday evening. Our young players played very well and were leading by 2-01 to 2-00 at the half time break. Our scorers were Diarmiud Hegarty (1-03), Tavis Quaid (1-00). We lined out as follows Jack Collopy, Neill Mullins, Nathan O Shaughnessy, Adam Phelan, Gearoid O Sullivan, Andrew McMahon, Shane McCarthy, Adam McNamara, Eoin O Regan, Luke Hayes, Travis Quaid, Sean Mortell, Kyle Mullins, Diarmuid Hegarty and Shane Cross. Subs were Luke McNally, Jamie McNamara and Sean Farrell. The semi final will now take place on Sunday 12th April away to Garryspillane at 11am.

Friday 3rd April: Junior hurling training at 7pm
Saturday 4th April: Junior hurling away to Rathkeale at 6.45pm
