Senior Footballers
Our senior footballers continued their excellent early season form when they defeated Monaleen in round 3 of the All County Senior Football League in Pair Dromguil on Saturday.
Played in excellent conditions we began brightly and played some good football.
Our backs played well as a unit superbly marshalled by the McLoughlin boys Dean and Conor, with Peter Hodnett and Gordon Brown also to the fore.
Our midfield pairing of William O DOnoghue and Eoghan Kehilly continued their good form winning plenty of possession which enabled our forwards to keep the scoreboard ticking.
We led at the break 1-5 to 0-2 with our goal coming from the boot of Kieran Daly.
The second half was a much closer afffair as Monaleen fought back into the game.
We scored our second and decisive goal courtesy of David Dempsey following some good team build up.
We had good performances in the forward line from David Dempsey and Eoin Hogan along with new player Kieran Barr who performed well with his new team mates.
Overall a very satisfying performance by the lads who continue to find their feet in the senior ranks.

Feile Footballers
Our Feile Footballers travelled to Ahane on Sunday for the Feile Peil quarter final.
Following an excellent performance in the previous round alot was expected from the team.
Some days games go your way and other days not so good and unfortunately Sunday was not our day.
Nevertheless there is plenty of football to be played this season and no doubt the lads will be back and better for the experience.
