March 23, 2015LOTTO: No Jackpot winner last week so this week's jackpot €4200.This week's draw will take place on Friday 27th March in Flannery's bar Caherconlish. Tickets cost just €1 and are on sale in the local pubs, post office and all committee and club Officials. Club thanks all who support the lotto every week.
INTERMEDIATE: Intermediates started there competitive hurling campaign last Saturday afternoon when they played Claughan in the all county hurling league at home.
The match was played in great weather with sunshine and a perfect surface to play on.Claughan got the better start and soon had a lead built up of four points to one after 11 minutes our opening score came from a free by Gary Murphy.
The lads started to settle better into the game and got more position around Midfield and half forward line and soon had the lead that Claughan built up was being dented scores from play by James Enright , Aaron Power, and Brendan Hourigan and as the halftime whistle went Claughan had the narrow lead of 0-7 to 0-6.
Into the second half and the lads started right from the off with a Peter Tiernan point to level the game up and this was the level they maintained all during the second half as we kept Claughan to just one second half score.
Gary Murphy frees and score from play by Kevin Wixted, Brendan Hourigan and James Enright resulted in a win on a fulltime score of 0-14 to 0-8.
Well done to all the lads next up is away to Feohanagh on Saturday 4th April.

TABLEQUIZ: Caherline gaa annual Table quiz will take place on Friday 3rd April at 9pm in Millennium centre. Table of 4 cost is €20 and also on the night their will be a raffle and the club lotto draw.All are welcome and all support appreciated on the night.
