The weather played havoc with the opening weekend of the League fixtures with the majority of games called off due to unplayable pitches.
In the games that were played 2014 Intermediate champions Clanmaurice of Kerry, in their first match at Senior, were beaten by Ballyagran 1-8 to 0-3. Killeedy also logged up two wins defeating Bruff by 5-11 to 0-6 in the Senior League and a Na Piarsaigh by 5-7 to 2-10 in the Intermediate League.
