This was a very tight game with the goals between the different between the sides at end of the half, played in very windy conditions in Mick Neville Park (Rathkeale), this loss puts us into the semi-final at least at the moment, the final placing when depends on the result between Allaughaun Gaels and Askeaton/ St. Kieran's, which takes place on next Saturday March 7th, in Bog Garden (Rathkeale), at 3pm.

Allaughaun Gaels scored the first 1-2 of the game and then Damien Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a point coming from play.  Allaughaun Gaels scored the next point of the game and Damien Lacey then scored his pointed free of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave four points between the sides 11 minutes gone in the game.  Allaughaun Gaels scored the next point and then Jack O'Sullivan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford. Allaughaun Gaels scored the next point and then Denis Donegan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave four points between the sides once again.  Allaughaun Gaels scored the next 1-3 without reply to lead by ten points with 23 minutes gone in the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last two points of the half both coming from Damien Lacey to leave eight points between the sides at the break.  To leave the score at half-time Allaughaun Gaels 2-8 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-6.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first five points of the second half  with four of these points coming from Damien Lacey all from frees and the other point came from Denis Donegan. Allaughaun Gaels scored the next three points to leave six points between the sides.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford coming from Damien Lacey and Denis Donegan to leave four points between the sides once again.  Allaughaun Gaels scored the next of the point of the game and Denis Donegan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave four points between the sides again.  Allaughaun Gaels scored the next two points last two points of the game to leave six points between the sides at end of the game.  To leave the score full-time Allaughaun Gaels 2-14 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-14.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

Results of the 141st draw took place on Monday Night last March 2nd, in Neenan's Bar, Broadford and the numbers drawn were: 3, 5, 13, and 24, there was no winner of jackpot at €2,200 and there was one winner of Match three at €100 and that was: John Neenan. Broadford and the two lucky dips winners of €50 each were: Sean Biggane, Tullylease and Alan & Marie Lacey and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday March 9th, in The Green Bar, Dromcollogher, with the jackpot going up to €2,300 (win or share) and with the match three staying at €100 (win or share).  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.
