UNDER 21 HURLERS
The Under 21 hurlers travelled to Kilbreedy on Sunday for their final group game of Group 2.
Their opponents this time were Ahane played in very trying conditions and soft underfoot.
Playing with a very strong wind in the first half we got some excellent scores from a variety of scorers.
We scored two goals in this half courtesy of Conor Boylan and Kieran Daly and led at the break 2-11 to 0-1.
Th second half was tough against the wind but our defence were well on top with Mike Casey, Mark Buckley and Gordon Brown protecting Evan Condon's goal well.
Further up the field Conor Houlihan and Mike Foley supplied great service to the forwards with David Dempsey, Peter Casey, and Conor Boylan all profitting with some good points.
Overall a good workmanlike performance and one which sets us up with a semi final spot in a few weeks.
