Last-gasp points from Miceal McKenna and Jamie Clarke (2) handed Armagh a controversial 2-8 to 0-13 victory over Tipperary at the Athletic Grounds.

After the final whistle, Meath referee David Coldrick was escorted from the pitch. Man of the Match Clarke had netted the hosts' first goal from an injury-time penalty at the end of the first half, while wing back Mark Shields blasted their second to the top corner eight minutes after the restart.

The Premier County led going into stoppage time but were edged out by those two late Clarke strikes.

Elsewhere in this division, Clare enjoyed a facile 1-16 to 0-5 victory over Wexford at Miltown Malbay, while Limerick got the better of Sligo in Kilmallock, 0-14 to 1-9.
