ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGDerry, Margaret and Maurice to lead the club in 2015

The AGM of the club took place at the club meeting room on Saturday last. Chairperson Jimmy Lee presided. The club appointed Derry McMahon, Chairman, Margaret Hannon, Secretary and Maurice McAuliffe, treasurer as the main officers for 2015. Full report in next week's notes.

CLUB LOTTERY

Last Monday's draw took place at Cleary's. The jackpot of €20,000 was not won. The €100 special bonus prize winner was Michael Hayden, c/o the Silver Dollar. The 5 x €40 lucky dip winners were Rebecca Enright, c/o the Central, JW Barden, c/o Paddy McCoy, Eoin O'Regan, c/o Cleary's, Michael Lane, c/o Ed Lynch's, Noel Murphy, c/o Pat's. This week's jackpot is €20,000. The draw takes place at Johnny Fitzgerald's, Corner Bar on Monday next, January 26th at 11p.m. The club wish to thank all who are supporting, promoting and hosting the lottery.

CAMOGIE

Congratulations to the Newcastle West minor camogie team who captured County A championship honours in Tournafulla on Sunday. Similar to the U21 footballers they won the title after a replay. In charge were well known former Newcastle West hurlers Willie Hurley, John Peter Cremin, Jim Dowling and Tony O'Conn
