Ireland is waking up to the brilliant news this morning that it has a new world champion in boxing.

Limerick's Andy Lee became the WBO middleweight champion following a stunning sixth round victory over Matt Korobov in Las Vegas.

The 30-year-old has been congratulated by many GAA personalities on twitter. Here is just a selection of the tweets that have been posted.
