Carey takes charge of Patrickswell

Limerick's Ciaran Carey

Ciaran Carey has returned to manage his native Patrickswell.

The Limerick legend replaces Natal O'Grady in the role after he guided Lixnaw to Kerry SHC honours this year. Carey will continue to work alongside his former Limerick team-mate Mark Foley, who assisted him in Lixnaw.

The duo also worked together when Carey was Limerick U21 manager earlier this year.

Elsewhere, Shane O'Neill is to continue as manager of former Limerick SHC kingpins Na Piarsaigh, while ex-Tipperary star and camogie manager Eoin Brislane is the new manager of Ballybrown.
