U21 Footballers:
Our U21 footballers are waiting for either Gael na Sionne or Pallasgreen to meet in the County U21 A football final. The County U21 A football final is now fixed for Friday 19th December venue to be confirmed
Santa arrived at the Club:
Last Sunday evening Santa arrived at the clubhouse to visit all of our young Boys and Girls. Santa was delighted to see such a large crowd waiting to visit him and was delighted to speak to all the Boys and Girls and promised the Boys and Girls that they won't be disappointed on Christmas morning as he will making the trip to Limerick at around 4am. Following Santa's visit the music entertainment starting where all the Mams and Dads and Boys and Girls had a great sing along. Many thanks to the ladies committee for having the club looking great and for arranging all the events on the Day.
Upcoming Events:
Now that events on the field is nearly coming to a close but the committee will still be very active and support for the upcoming events will be needed when asked such as Leaflets Drops, Christmas Draw, Underage Awards, Dunnes Stores bag packing, Christmas underage party etc. Please don't wait to be asked come along and volunteer.
Christmas Draw:
Our annual Christmas raffle card draw will take place on Sunday December 21st at 7.30pm at the Clubhouse. Many Prizes can be won and cards are still available from any committee member. The club will be selling Christmas raffle cards at the Parkway Shopping Centre on Monday 15th Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th of December from 10am to 6pm. Now is your chance to give a hand and if you are free to help out for 2 or 3 hours on any of these dates please make contact by text to the following number 0861733284 with details of the Day and hours you are available to help. All help will be greatly appreciated by the club.
GAA National Draw:
Once again the G.A.A. will run a national draw for all clubs around the country with top class prizes on offer. The club took part in this draw last year and the club were very successful with the draw that the club decided to enter the draw again this year. Tickets will be available from the Committee over the next week or please support when asked.
Club AGM
The club A.G.M. will take place on Monday 19th January at 8pm. Mass will be celebrated at 7.30pm. All nominations and motions papers will be sent out over the next couple of weeks and to be returned to secretary ASAP.
Sympathies:
All at the club was sad to hear of the death of Susan Cameron (Nee Dawson). Susan comes from a great St Patrick's Family, Susan Dad Tony and Uncle Frank played with St Patrick's. Susan Mother Chrisse is a great supporter of the club as well as her Brothers especially Kenneth (Hammy). Susan who lived and died in England will be a great loss to her family and friends. All at the Club would like to sympathies to Kenneth (Hammy) and the Dawson Family on this sad occasion. Funeral Arrangement is as follows Susan Cameron nee Dawson, London, late of East England Road, Garryowen, Survived by husband John, son, daughters, mother Chrissie Dawson, brothers Charlie, Kevin, Peter, Hammy, sister Mary, all other relatives and friends. Requiem Mass at St Patrick's Church - Friday December 12th at 11am followed by Scattering of ashes at Mount Saint Oliver cemetery. Contact: Cross' on 061 410744.
