50th Anniversary of 1964 County Success
There was a get together of the former players and their family members at the Woodlands House Hotel on Friday 14th of November to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Ballysteens first and only County Senior Football victory in 1964. A great night of reminiscing took place and ended with a lovely sing song. Ballysteen GAA club presented a plaque to commemorate the occasion and this plaque will be displayed on the Clubhouse wall.

West U21 A Football semi final
Ballysteen were beaten by Deel Rangers in the West U21 final on Saturday which took place in the Bog Garden. The final score was 2-10 to 0-8. The team and scorers was- Joe Guerin, Paul Doyle, Eoin Cuddihy, Conor Enright, Mick Boyce, Alan O'Shaughnessy, David Holland, Corey Flynn, Barry McMahon, Paul Maher, Danny Neville 0-4, Jack Neville 0-1, Steven Carrig, Conor Barry 0-1, Brian Neville 0-1. Subs, Cian O Connell 0-1, Liam Horgan, John Blackwell, David O Donaghue, Declan Guerin (injured)

Congratulations to Ian and Diane on the recent birth of their son, Ben Ranahan.

AGM
Many thanks to everyone who attended our AGM last Friday evening. There was a good turnout and some good discussions took place on what direction the club will take going forward. The club would like to thank outgoing Secretary John Anglim and outgoing chairman Eamonn Murphy for all their hard work over the last few years. The club is looking forward to a very positive 2015 and there will be several events in the pipeline over the coming months in order to help raise funds for the club.  The following officials were elected for the following year:
