The Munster club SHC final between Kilmallock and Cratloe takes place at the Gaelic Grounds this afternoon.

Former Clare All-Ireland winner Ger 'Sparrow' O'Loughlin will attempt to plot the downfall of his fellow county men who are appearing in their first provincial senior hurling decider. Kilmallock have been here before, having won previously won Munster titles in 1992 and '94.

Cratloe are slight favourites to finish a marathon season on a high. The dual club won a Clare SHC and SFC double, only losing last week's provincial football semi-final to The Nire after extra-time.

Fresh from their Kilkenny SHC final victory over Clara seven days ago, Ballyhale Shamrocks travel to Parnell Park to take on Ollie Baker's Kilmacud Crokes for a place in the Leinster final against Kilcormac/Killoughey.

The game will be followed by the Leinster club SFC semi-final between St. Vincent's and Garrycastle.
