West U21 A Semi-Final
Shannon Gaels 1-9
Daithi Brudairs 2-4.
We ground out a great win today in Tournafulla against a dogged Drom/Broadford- Feenagh/Kilmeedy combination. Eeveryone to a man player their part as we clinched another West final spot. As current holders we were determined from the get go, and went in at the break four points up with our goal coming from minor James Wallace and four points from the reliable boot of Kevin Moore and another fine effort by Daragh Noonan. The game was nip and tuck all through the second half. Jamie Long put in a powerful shift in midfield and his endeavour was rewarded with 3 valuable points. Our backs played really well in the second half and we were very much relieved at full time when referee Davy Dillane blew it up.
