Camogie Annual General Meeting

 

There was a strong attendance at the recent Camogie AGM.  Thanks to everyone for their support.  The current officers were retained, namely Breda Leahy (Chairwoman), Valerie Lynch (Assistant Chairwoman), Mary Gillane (Secretary), Denise O'Carroll (Treasurer), Aedin Foley (PRO) and Carmel Kirby (Child Welfare Officer).

 

City Scor na n-Og

There was a very high standard at the City Scor Final last week. Patrickswell entered Figure Dancing, Instrumental and Set Dancing competitions. All competitors did the club very proud.

Our Set Dancers were victorious and qualified for the County Final after giving a fantastic performance in a very tough competition. A big thank you to Mary Shinnors, Mike Shinnors, Paula Dillon and Muirne Bennis for all the training up to the City Final.  The Set Dancers were Paul Lynch, Lawrence Tuohy, Jack Foley, Lynsey Senior, Emma Ryan, Roisin O'Brien, Tamara Murray and Chelsea O'Shea.

The Figure Dancers were Ella O'Brien, Lucy O'Brien, Kate Fitzgerald, Roisin O'Brien, Nicola Ryan, Lucy Quinn-Rea, Lillie Considine and Lucy Foley.  Our Instrumentalists were Roisin Harmon, Jake Carey, Josh Carey and Paul Lynch. Well done to all involved.

The County Final is on Friday December 5 at 7.00pm in LIT.  Please support these young dancers.
