Ballysteen GAA AGM

The Ballysteen GAA AGM is scheduled for Friday, 21 November at 9pm. Please note that Eamonn Murphy and John Anglim are stepping down as Chairman and Secretary respectively.

Under 21 Football West Championship

This Championship was meant to start on Wednesday 5 of November but it has been put back for at least another week. Players will be notified when the new fixture is made.

Ballysteen link with Ausin Stacks

Barry Shanahan who was the Captain of the new Kerry County Football Champions, Austin Stacks has a strong Ballysteen link. Dick Shanahan who was on the first Ballysteen team to win a West Junior Football title in 1932 is Barry Shanahans Grandfather. Barrys brother, Ronan was also on the Rock Street club team that won their first Kerry title in 20 years.
