St. Patrick's G.A.A. Club Notes

October 28, 2014

Junior B Footballers:
Our Junior B footballers were knockout of the county junior B football championship last Monday afternoon in Claughaun. Playing in the county semi final stage against Ballybricken/Bohermore our players tried very hard against a strong wind in the opening half but could not hold back the Ballybricken/Bohermore forwards as they hit us for 1-10 with the wind in favour of them we tried hard but failed to score in the first half 1-10 to 0-00. In the second half now with the favour of the wind it was catch up time but even though we out scored Ballybricken/Bohermore in the second half but it was not enough Brien Bennett (0-02) Even O Connor (0-02) and Niall Benson (0-02) were our second half scorers but in the end Tony Quigley side lost by 1-13 to 0-06. Many thanks to the team, panel and management for the great effort that was put in all season.
