Shannon Gaels 2-11, Ballysteen 2-7

Ballysteen minor footballers went down gamely by 4 points to what on the day was a stronger Shannon Gaels who are a combination of Gerald Griffins and Glin. This is a young Ballysteen team and the future is bright. The under 21 championship is starting soon and the team will be backboned by a lot of these minors. Much thanks to all the minors who served the club so well throughout the year and special thanks to Shane Hallinan and Mark Ranahan who managed the team.
