Junior A County Quarter-Final
Fr. Caseys 0-06 Kilteely/Dromkeen 1-13
Fr. Casey's Junior footballers were beaten in the quarter final of the County Junior Football Championship last Tuesday by a strong Kilteely/Dromkeen outfit. With the fixture played just two days after the minor team claimed the county title, injuries and absentees left the team considerably weakened from that which had done so well in the earlier rounds of the West Championship. In this game, Fr. Casey's struggled to find the scores and were five points down at the break on a scoreline of 0-07 to 0-02. The second half began the same as the first ended. A flourish of scores from Kilteely/Dromkeen which included a goal midway through the half put the game beyond doubt with te minutes remaining. However, Fr. Casey's did battle on and scored four points near the end to leave a more respectable scoreline at the finish. The game ended Fr. Casey's 0-06 Kilteely/Dromkeen 1-13. A big thank you to all of the players who contributed throughout the year and to the management team of Maurice Flynn, J.D. Foley and Liam McNally for the hard work put in to bring the team together.

Senior County League Final 2013
Fr. Caseys 2-24 Sean Finns 0-07
Fr. Casey's Senior footballers claimed the cup for the 2013 County Senior League last Thursday evening in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale. It was very much a one sided game against St. Mary's/Sean Finns who were short a number of key players for the fixture. It was however a strong all round display from the Abbeyfeale men who made the most of the open space and played some nice football. Captain Paudie Browne lifted the cup after the game and how fitting it was as Browner had just been named on the Senior Football Championship Team of the Year for 2014.
