Notes for Wednesday and Thursday 24th and 25th of September 2014

ALL ROADS LEAD TO MICK NEVILLE PARK, (RATHKEALE)!!!

FOR THE COUNTY SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL AGAINST BALLYLANDERS, ON THIS COMING FRIDAY NIGHT, IN MICK NEVILLE PARK (RATHKEALE), AT 8.15PM, PLESE SUPPORT OUR SENIOR FOOTBALLERS.

This is our 15th year in a row being in the Semi-Final of the County Senior Football Championship, on our way to the Semi-Final, in round 1 we defeated St. Patrick's by 1-14 to 0-07, in round 2 we defeated Monaleen on a scoreline of 0-13 to 0-10, in round 3 we lost to Ballylanders on a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-09, in round 4 we defeated St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's (Rathkeale) on  a scoreline of 2-15 to 1-06 and then in the fifth and final round we defeated Pallasgreen on a scoreline of 2-15 to 0-09, this put us into the Semi-Final against the winners of the Quarter-Final between Ballylanders and Newcastle West, which Ballylanders won a scoreline of 2-09 to 0-12, this Semi-Final is between two great footballing rivals, let's hope that we can reverse the score from earlier in the year from the group stages, this game takes place on this coming Friday night September 26th, in Mick Neville Park (Rathkeale), at 8.15pm.  As part of a double header with the other Semi-Final between Fr. Casey's and St. Patrick's at 6.30pm.  Please Support our Senior Footballers.

West Minor Football Championship

We well defeated by Deel Rangers played last Tuesday night, played down in Dromcollogher, this loss puts into the B Semi-Final against St. Kieran's, on this coming Saturday September 27th, in Knockaderry, at 2.30pm (with extra-time if necessary).  Please Support our Minor Footballers.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

Results of the 119th draw took place on last Monday Night September 22th, in Neenan's Bar, Broadford and the numbers drawn were: 5, 14, 18 and 28, there was no winner of jackpot at €13,100 and there also was no winner of the match three at €100 and the 2 lucky dips winners of €50 each were: Liam Buckley, Knocktoosh, Broadford and Tom O'Brien, Broadford Post Office and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday September 29th, in O'Shea Bar, Dromcollogher, with the jackpot going up to €13,200 (win or share) and with the match three going up to  €150 (win or share).  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.

Membership

Membership for the above club €20 playing and non-playing in both adults and Students for this year is now overdue since March 31st, please pay to the relevant people you are not covered to play unless you have your membership paid in full.

Dromcollogher / Broadford GAA club can now offer a full range of Official O'Neill's sports and leisure wear in your club colours.   The range of items includes (Jackets, Rain Jackets, Windcheaters, Half-zips, Tracksuits, Hoodies, New Jersey's sponsored by Dromcollogher Credit Union, Training Jerseys, Polo Shirts, Socks and Shorts etc).  All of the above items have been specially designed for our club and come complete with official club crest, club name and official GAA logo in all sizes from kids to adult and can only be purchased through the club.  All items will be sold to order and upfront payment strictly required.  Orders will be placed with O' Neill's at regular intervals.
