Claughaun GAA Club Notes

September 23, 2014

u14 hurling
Pride of the club goes to the u14 hurlers who won the county 13 a side hurling championship last Saturday vs Croom in Rathkeale. They won on a score line of 4-12 to 1-05. In what was a brilliant performance where the majority of scores came from play we dominated the majority of the game. A big well done to the 18 lads who were togged out and to the mentors. This team came on leaps and bounds since the start of the year and they club would like to say a big thank you to the team.

Intermediate Football
The intermediate footballers are out this Sunday at 4pm in Askeaton vs Gerald Griifins in the intermediate relegation football final. this is a huge game to the club and we hope that the players can perform to their full ability that we knw they have. if not we'll be in the unthinkable situation of our first team playing junior football. we will ask if anyone can come and support the lads on Sunday it would be greatly appreciated.

Intermediate hurling game vs Kilmeady has not been fixed. details to follow soon,
